4th February 1812: Frames broken in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

In somewhat of a last hurrah for this phase of Midlands Luddism, several villages in 2 counties were attacked in the same night.

In Derbyshire, 2 frames were broken at Taghill, near Heanor.

In Nottinghamshire, 1 frame was broken at Bobbers Mill, 1 frame at Basford & 5 were broken at Burton Joyce.

As reported in the Leeds Mercury of 15th February 1812 (quoting the Nottingham Review of 7th February 1812).
