4th February 1812: Frames broken in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

In somewhat of a last hurrah for this phase of Midlands Luddism, several villages in 2 counties were attacked in the same night.

In Derbyshire, 2 frames were broken at Taghill, near Heanor.

In Nottinghamshire, 1 frame was broken at Bobbers Mill, 1 frame at Basford & 5 were broken at Burton Joyce.

3rd February 1812: 1 Frame broken at Bobbers Mill

On Monday 3rd February, 1 stocking frame was broken at Bobbers Mill, with the broken parts being carried away by the Luddites.

23rd January 1812: Frames broken at Bobbers Mill & Old Radford

On Thursday 23rd January, 2 frames were broken in the night at Bobbers Mill, with their remains being carried away by the Luddites. The tendency to carry away the remains of broken frames had increased since the new year. One frame was also broken at Old Radford.

30th November 1811: Framebreaking at New Basford, Bobbers Mill, Old & New Radford

The framebreaking continued for another night. This time 1 frame was broken at New Basford, 2 at Bobbers Mill, 1 at Old Radford & 1 at New Radford.

28th November 1811: Attacks at Basford & Bobbers Mill

Frame-breaking continued at Basford for the 6th night, with 4 frames being destroyed, with the Nottingham Review noting that 'the woodworks were burnt'.

On the same night, 5 frames were destroyed at nearby Bobbers Mill.
