7th June 1812: Arms raids at Lee Fair, West Ardsley

At 12.30 a.m. on Sunday 7th June, Luddites called at the home of Israel Rhodes, at Lee Fair, West Ardsley. They demanded his gun, which he surrendered to them.

They later proceeded to another house nearby and took another gun. Later, they went to the home of a Mr Leathley, and made off with 2 muskets, a pistol and a guinea.
