4th April 1815: Fire at a machine-makers in Leeds

At 1.00 a.m. on Tuesday 4th April 1815, a fire broke out at the premises of John Jubb, a machine maker on Meadow Lane in Leeds. The fire destroyed a drying house for wood, and the stock of wood within, including valuable stocks of mahogany and oak.

This was reported in the Leeds Intelligencer of 10th April 1815.
