10th May 1812: Threshing machine at Sothill, near Dewsbury, set alight

On Sunday night, the 10th May 1812, a barn containing a Threshing Machine at Rouse Mill, Sothill, near Dewsbury was set alight. The machinery and the barn, which belonged to a Mr Wooller, were almost completely destroyed.
