12th May 1812: Robbery in Lancaster claimed by 'General Ludd'

In the evening of Tuesday 12th May, the counting house of a Mr. Kilshaw in Lancaster was broken into. The burglars took away 50 shillings of copper coins and 2 bottles of rum. They left on a desk a piece of paper with 'General Ludd' written on it.
