20th May 1816: Riot averted at Mundford, Norfolk

The Bury & Norwich Post of 29th May 1816 briefly reported that a riot had been averted at Mundford, Norfolk on Monday 20th May 1816:
Riots.—Monday se'nnight a mob collected at Mundford, but by the early attention and activity of J. Mosely, Esq. the Swaffham Cavalry, under Capts. Hamond and Tyssen, were mustered, and in a few hours appeared in force, when the Riot Act was read, and entire order was the consequence.
