28th April 1812: Cloth damaged at Drighlington
Between 11.00 p.m. and 12.00 a.m. on Tuesday 28th April 1812, a piece of cloth which belonged to a Samuel Boys of Drighlington and had been left to dry on
tenters
was cut to shreds.
As reported in the Leeds Mercury of 2nd May 1812.
