9th April 1812: Derbyshire burglaries suspect Andrew Scott apprehended in Lincolnshire
On Thursday 9th April, the Derby Mercury reported that a suspect in the Derbyshire burglaries on December 1811, Andrew Scott aka Thomas Purdey, had been apprehended in Gainsborough 'a few days ago' and brought to the County Gaol prior to publication.
